Questions
Is it safe to give Starquill my store keys?+
Keys are encrypted with AES-256 before they're stored and are never shown again. For the App Store we ask for a key with the Customer Support role, which can only read reviews and answer them. For Google Play the service account only needs “View app information” and “Reply to reviews”.
What happens with review text and AI?+
Review text (which is already public) is sent to our AI provider only to analyze it and draft replies. It isn't used to train models. Replies are never posted without you pressing Send.
Why does Google Play history start from today?+
Google's API only returns reviews from the last 7 days. From the day you connect, Starquill keeps every review, so your history grows from there. The App Store API gives full history.
How often are reviews checked?+
Every 12 hours on Free, every 3 hours on Indie and every hour on Studio. You can also press “Sync now” anytime.
Can I cancel anytime?+
Yes. Cancel in one click from the billing page and you keep your plan until the end of the period. Payments are handled by Paddle, which also sends invoices.
